Our Identity

Who We Are

Caribbean United Church observes the “seventh-day” Sabbath and is among  more than 1600 Sabbath- observing congregations in the United States.

  • We are a non-denominational, self-supporting, Christian fellowship of believers.
  • Our membership is made up of believers from various denominations and faith groups.
  • We preach and teach from God’s word exclusively and call upon no other name than His.
  • Our core values are Christ only! Grace only! Faith only! Scripture only! And Love only.

We accept the Bible and the Bible only  as our primary, all-sufficient, and final source of authority, guide, rule of faith, and practice.

About Us

A Brief History
Caribbean United Church is an heaven-born, heaven-blessed and heaven-bound church.  Our story began in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, July 1, 2000.  On that historic date and unprecedented Sabbath, twenty-four believers, including children, committed themselves to the planting of CUC.

Our Mission
Our mission clearly defines the purpose, focus, and direction of our church and community center.  We are about worshipping the Creator, serving humanity, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and preparing ourselves and others for His second coming.

Our Mission Statement

We believe that as God led the Old Testament church through the prophets and the New Testament church through the apostles, He, the Head of the Church, will lead the Caribbean United Church, a unit of His body and a fraction of the invisible-universal church, through His appointed leaders.

Our Vision

Building a ministry that is "holistic", culturally relevant and that which targets and impacts our Community, City, County, and Country. Our purpose, in all that we do, is to glorify God.

Our Community Center

A  “Community” enriching families, where Christ is the “Center” of everything we do, and His Gospel is proclaimed with the goals of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those in our mission field.

It’s a facility where area pastors and church leaders have the opportunities to come and perform services such as baptisms, weddings, funerals, Bible Conferences, Anniversary, Group Activities, and other functions.

A place where a luncheon (hot meal) is served every Saturday, except during the season of Prayer & Fasting.
